Project: Kitchen Design - Belleair, FL

We make decisions all the time. Every step of our day involves many options and we have to decide on only one. The combination of these decisions could be called our personal life, and for those who make them knowingly and determinedly living becomes absolutely fantastic.

In architecture and design this is no different. Every decision involved in any project will contribute to its outcome, and if done correctly, an amazing building will arise.

Now, understanding that our imagination is the actual tool to foresee the future and make decisions, when it comes to many minds we need to picture something that everyone can see, and a great designer should be able to portray the vision so the client and the contractors involved align and agree on the desired outcome.

In different words, with the right use of technology a designer should be able to show you the outcome of the unbuilt project. This technology is simply called renderings, and our team members at Levy Design Group have been using this tool for over 12 years.

So how does this work? Without going into technical details, the space is created in a specialized 3D software that mimics reality, including finishes, shapes, furniture and lighting.

To show you how it works I’ll feature our latest and one of a kind projects located in Belleair, Florida.

The clients have become, basically, an intrinsic part of the design project. Both the husband and wife have a very similar taste which is very contemporary and modern, and their opinions and feedback have been really contributing to the decision making of the project. However, even inside a very defined style there are many options and decisions to be made, so to help them envision their options we created 5 rendering options combining the main design features that they love.

Without any further words, here are the images. We hope that you get inspired, and remember: Everything in design is a creative decision that can steer your home’s daily life into the right path.

Let us know which one you like and in a few weeks we’ll publish the final selection. Needless to say the decision making now is factual, fast and fun.
